Fadhili Microenterprises Limited
Fadhili Microenterprises Limited is a Kenyan Microfinance Institution established in 2011. Fadhili has over 40,000 clients, 80 percent of whom are women. Fadhili’s target customers are often self-employed in the agribusiness sector. The loan from Impact for Northern Kenya Fund will enable Fadhili to finance additional low-income customers by transitioning to a digital finance model. Fadhili has also committed to using funds for supporting environmentally friendly projects, including affordable renewable energy systems, wind energy, mini-hydropower, and biogas. Fadhili is matching the Impact for Northern Kenya Fund’s loan on a 1:1 basis to facilitate additional capital into northern Kenya.
