Agricultural Finance Corporation
The Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) is a Development Finance Institution (DFI) incorporated by the Government of Kenya in 1969. AFC finances small- and large-scale producers, processors, and service providers in the agriculture and livestock sectors throughout Kenya. The Impact for Northern Kenya Fund loan will allow AFC to finance approximately 7,000 additional northern Kenyan micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). AFC is matching the Impact for Northern Kenya Fund’s loan on a 1:1 basis to facilitate additional capital into northern Kenya.
