Melissa Schweisguth is an associate technical director of market systems for ACDI/VOCA, where she advises projects on inclusive market systems analysis, design, and implementation. She has led value chain analyses to inform projects in Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Jamaica. Previously, Melissa worked on ethical trade and corporate sustainability in the food and agricultural sectors and on marketing for values-driven brands and small farms. She is a four-time Farmer-to-Farmer volunteer and an avid vegetable grower with a permaculture design certificate. Melissa holds M.S. degrees from the University of California-Davis in international agricultural development and agriculture and resource economics.
