ACDI/VOCA welcomes Sylvia Megret as its chief operating officer (COO). Ms. Megret has worked in international development for over 20 years. Most recently, she served as vice president for business development and communications for URC-CHS. Before that, she was vice president for corporate development at IRG, and previously managing director at Cardno Emerging Markets. She holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan and an M.A. in international development from American University.
She has expertise building successful teams working across international borders and time zones. She is skilled in developing innovative business systems and enhancing efficiency and process improvement, team leadership, project implementation, recruitment, and writing.
