Nathalie Me-Nsope is a director of gender and agriculture, providing technical guidance in gender equality, female empowerment, and social inclusion, with an emphasis on supporting equitable and inclusive agriculture and market systems programs. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA in 2020, Nathalie worked as a gender specialist, leading gender mainstreaming efforts for several USAID and non-USAID programs. Her areas of expertise include designing gender strategies, training tools, and gender action plans for programs as well as building the capacity of program staff to integrate gender into the project cycle. She has extensive experience conducting gender-informed agricultural research, gender analysis studies, and gender-sensitive monitoring and evaluation. Nathalie holds a PhD in agricultural economics from Michigan State University, an MA in gender and development from the University of York (United Kingdom), and a BS in women and gender studies and economics from the University of Buea (Cameroon). She has worked in Africa, Latin America, and South East Asia and is fluent in English and French.
