Senior Vice President of Technical Learning and Application 

Cheryl Turner leads our technical teams in providing expert support in various technical areas and at various stages of project implementation — from proposals to technical designs of projects. In addition to managing the market systems, gender and social inclusion, and nutrition-sensitive agriculture technical teams, she provides direct technical support to projects and proposals, especially those related to participatory processes and technical strategy. Before joining ACDI/VOCA in 2013, Cheryl served in leadership positions for Youth Challenge International, Peace Corps Cambodia, Peace Corp Mali, and the United States Department of Labor. She holds a BA in Russian from Bryn Mawr College, an MPH in health education and behavior from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and is fluent in English and French.
