Michael Casey is a Service Learning Corps volunteer with ACDI/VOCA assigned to the Feed the Future Bangladesh Rice and Diversified Crops (RDC) Activity. He is working with the activity’s monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) team to develop innovative tools for measuring impact in complex market systems interventions and to support the activity’s annual assessment. He has supported MEL for diverse programs around the world — from low-income energy assistance programs in the United States to malaria eradication in Madagascar with the Institut Pasteur and humanitarian assistance with the World Food Programme in Myanmar. He is currently a dual master’s degree candidate at Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy.
