Antonio Coello is our chief of party of the Feed the Future Tanzania Kilimo Tija Activity, funded by USAID. He provides program management and leads a large team, providing strategic, technical, contractual, financial, and administrative direction. Antonio is the primary liaison with USAID and takes on a leadership role coordinating among USAID representatives, market system stakeholders, and other implementing partners. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA in 2022, Antonio served as a chief of party of USAID-funded programs, including major agriculture development programs in Honduras and Tanzania, for 12 years. His career history demonstrates 25 years of experience in agribusiness development. Antonio holds an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering and an MBA from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Mexico). He is fluent in English and Spanish and speaks basic Swahili.
