
In Serbia, the USAID-funded Big Small Businesses Project (or Projekat Velika Mala Privreda) advanced the small and medium enterprise sector’s growth and competitive positioning both regionally and internationally. The project’s goal was to help businesses integrate into higher value chains and developed markets to boost the economy, especially in agriculture, food, equipment, and machinery. Though the project was cut short, from 2022-2025, it achieved some remarkable results:
