From 2015 to 2021, the USAID-funded Forest Incomes for Environmental Sustainability (FIFES) Activity, implemented by ACDI/VOCA, helped forest-dependent communities in Liberia develop their own enterprises and diversify their incomes in sustainable ways that also combatted deforestation and biodiversity loss.
