Laura Brown is the manager of information and communications in Colombia. In this role, she manages the reporting and translation of communications across several ACDI/VOCA-led programs funded by USAID in Colombia, including PAR, the Youth Resiliency Activity, and the Emergency Response in Colombia Program. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA in 2018, Laura worked as a journalist and news editor for a South African media group and as a freelance writer and editor throughout South America. She holds a BA in contemporary European studies (French pathway) from the University of North London (now London Metropolitan University) (England). Laura is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Japanese.
