NutriMap follows three phases to guide implementation:
- Analysis: In the first phase, we analyze the current diet of smallholder farmers. This analysis includes the sourcing of food items, nutritional value pre- and post-preparation, and the cost of acquisition.
- Alternatives: In this phase, we collaborate with stakeholders and households to classify available and potential foods. Our dual classification ranks food alternatives by nutritional value and household cost.
- Access: Finally, we identify specific household choices to access these foods and to promote these recommendations by integrating them with existing agricultural development activities.
We rigorously monitor project activities and adaptively manage them to achieve success for our clients. We customize every project to meet the unique demands and emerging challenges of each situation. For NutriMap, we create a comprehensive evaluation that builds from the following measures:
