Carrie McCloud is a communications specialist who collaborates with experts and leadership to develop digital content and promote ACDI/VOCA’s work through outreach. Carrie also provides editorial and communications support to ACDI/VOCA programs around the world. She has completed short-term fieldwork for USAID and Feed the Future projects in Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA in 2017, Carrie was a reporter and contributing writer covering business and entrepreneurship for several publications, including the Nashville Post. She also supported communications for the NEA Foundation, an education nonprofit supporting the largest teachers union in the country. She holds a BS in international business and BA in Spanish from the College of Charleston and an MA in journalism and public affairs from American University.
