Director of Business Development 

Victoria Norelid is a director of business development at ACDI/VOCA, where she develops and implements the organizational strategy and vision for expanding business in Latin America. Victoria also leads new business capture and proposal preparation, serves as a technical lead and writer for proposals in English and Spanish, and conducts short-term assignments related to monitoring and evaluation, project operations, and more for our projects in Latin America. Victoria joined ACDI/VOCA in 2012, as a monitoring and evaluation manager for the USAID Afro-Colombian and Indigenous Program in Colombia. She later joined headquarters in 2016 as a director managing programs in Colombia, Paraguay, and Mozambique. In 2019, she transitioned to her current role, based in Bogotá, Colombia. Previously, Victoria worked as a grants, information, and database manager for a USAID Office of Transition Initiatives governance response program in Colombia implemented by Creative Associates International. She holds an MS in Latin American studies from the University of Oxford and a BA in history from Harvard University. Victoria is fluent in English and Spanish. She has intermediate knowledge of French and Italian and basic knowledge of Portuguese.
