Director of Catalyzing Investments

Dipa Sharif is a director of catalyzing investments who works on scaling ACDI/VOCA’s impact investing and blended finance initiatives as part of AV Ventures, a for-profit subsidiary of ACDI/VOCA. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA in 2019, Dipa worked as an independent impact investment consultant for clients such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Millennium Challenge Corporation, and WaterEquity. She also cofounded the Women Impact Investing Network to foster collaboration, leadership, and knowledge building opportunities for women in the impact investing space. Dipa holds an MBA with a focus in quantitative finance and economics from New York University and a BBA with a focus in finance and information systems from The George Washington University. She is fluent in English, Bengali, and Hindi and has a limited proficiency of Spanish and elementary proficiency of Thai. Dipa has also passed level three of the Chartered Financial Analyst Program and earned certification from the Executive Program for Social Impact Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice.
