Senior Climate Change Advisor
David Miller provides technical guidance on the design, implementation, and evaluation of our agriculture and forestry projects and is technical advisor to the USAID Productive Landscapes project, for which he provides evidence-based guidance on sustainably intensifying land use. Prior to his work with ProLand, David supervised assessments of climate change vulnerability as ACDI/VOCA technical advisor to the USAID Adaptation and Resilience to Climate Change Project. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA in 2011, David was the lead designer of a course in land tenure provided by USAID and its partners. He also supported the development of the USAID Land Tenure and Property Rights Matrix. His past positions at USAID/Niger’s Natural Resources Management and Agriculture Office involved providing technical assistance in environmental and natural resource policies and regulation. David holds a PhD in development anthropology.
