Carolina Blackburn is the executive director of Fundación ACDI/VOCA Latin America, based in Bogotá, Colombia, where she implements its technical, operational, financial, and administrative efforts. Prior to joining Fundación ACDI/VOCA LA in 2018 and ACDI/VOCA Colombia in 2016, Carolina worked for the Colombian government for six years implementing a strategy for overcoming extreme poverty that served 4.5 million people in the country. She earned a bachelor’s degree in social communications and journalism from the Universidad de la Sabana (Colombia) and two master’s degrees: one in business management and strategic communications from ESIC Business School (Spain) and one in organizations, social responsibility, and development from the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia). She is fluent in Spanish and English.
