Associate Director of Nutrition and Food Systems

Alysa Grude is an associate director of nutrition and food systems who supports projects of ACDI/VOCA and its affiliate Tanager as well as new business opportunities in nutrition-sensitive agriculture and food systems. Alysa works with field offices to develop thinking around integrating nutrition into program activities and conducts analyses on nutritional impact and behaviors. She has led and conducted several food environment analyses to inform project design in impacting local consumption of nutrient-rich foods. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA in 2018, Alysa provided nutrition technical support to program design and evaluation for a local nonprofit in Guatemala. She holds an MPH from George Washington University and a BS in dietetics and food science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She has professional working proficiency in Spanish.
