International development expert Jennefer Sebstad shares key takeaway points on payment systems and behavior change from ACDI/VOCA's USAID Breakfast Seminar, "Behavior Change Perspectives on Gender and Value Chain Development."
Sebstad was joined by expert Cristina Manfre at the July 29, 2011, seminar in Washington, D.C. They presented a framework that examines how gender influences behaviors in agricultural value chains. The experts shared research from Ghana and Kenya and discussed factors that support and impede behavior change.
The research was conducted through ACDI/VOCA's USAID-funded Accelerated Microenterprise Advancement Project—Business Development Services Knowledge and Practice II (AMAP BDS K&P II) program.
