Assisting in the Development of Market Niches for Cooperatives

From 1992 to 1995 ACDI/VOCA implemented a small-grant project funded by USAID’s private voluntary organization co-financing program to assist the Northern Luzon Center for the Development of Cooperatives to establish an agribusiness resource center. The center acted as a pilot project in an area where there is a concentration of organic vegetable farming and assisted in developing a market niche for the beneficiaries.
