Working to Strengthen the Framework of Fragile, Failing & Failed States

The Decentralization/Local Governance Strengthening IQC is a five-year contract award focusing on the areas of decentralization and participatory government and public management and administration.

Of particular note is the emphasis on decentralized governance structures that may provide the only framework for order in fragile, failing and failed states. ACDI/VOCA is a subcontractor to PADCO under the DLG IQC. ACDI/VOCA will provide critical linkages between democratic governance and economic growth activities at the local level.
