Enhancing Performance and Competitiveness of SMEs

Through the Knowledge and Practice (K&P I) Task Order under the Accelerated Microenterprise Advancement Project-Business Development Services (AMAP-BDS) Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC), ACDI/VOCA helped to shape modern microenterprise development strategy. ACDI/VOCA conducted leading research on factors and strategies that generate wealth in poor communities and promote long-term growth by linking large numbers of small firms to profitable markets. This research focused on the development and articulation of a value chain approach to economic growth with poverty reduction. Under this project, ACDI/VOCA published ,18 papers, made 11 presentations and conducted trainings and workshops for over 450 participants.
