Nael Jean-Baptiste

Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist


An agronomist with more than eight years of project monitoring and evaluation experience, Nael Jean-Baptiste currently serves as the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) specialist at ACDI/VOCA's headquarters. Previously, he was the M&E manager for ACDI/VOCA’s USAID PL 480 Title II Multi-Year Assistance Program in Haiti. Before joining ACDI/VOCA, Mr. Jean-Baptiste’s work experience included various stints working for national and international nongovernmental organizations on food security, community development and job creation projects funded by USAID and the European Union. He is skilled in creating easy-to-manage M&E and reporting systems as project management tools. Mr. Jean-Baptiste earned his master’s degree in natural resources and environmental economy from the Los Andes University of Colombia and his bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering with a specialization in environmental protection and management from the University of Quisqueya in Haiti. He also received a specialized degree in social project design and evaluation from the Catholic University of Peru. Mr. Jean-Baptiste speaks native French and Creole, is fluent in English and highly proficient in Spanish.
