William Vu brings over six years of experience working in the international development space, and currently serves as senior technical coordinator at ACDI/VOCA. In his time at ACDI/VOCA, he coordinated the innovative USAID-funded Leveraging Economic Opportunities (LEO) project, which aimed to deepen and disseminate knowledge on inclusive market systems. In support of LEO, William traveled to West Africa to report on sanitary and phytosanitary constraints within regional maize and livestock value chains. Before joining ACDI/VOCA, he served as a Fulbright-Clinton Fellow in the National Rice Office in Ivory Coast, worked for the U.N.’s Food and Agriculture Organization in Liberia, and served in the Peace Corps in Togo. William holds B.A.s in economics and international studies from the University of California, San Diego, and a M.P.A. from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
