ACDI/VOCA Welcomes New Board Member

Upon the retirement of CEO Bill Collins, AgriBank has named Don Theuninck as the St. Paul farm credit bank’s replacement director on ACDI/VOCA’s board. Theuninck, who serves as AgriBank’s vice president for audit, will immediately join the 13 other directors who oversee the policies and operations of the Washington, D.C., international development organization.

As head of the audit department at AgriBank, Mr. Theuninck reports directly to AgriBank's Audit Committee and administratively to AgriBank's CEO. He provides leadership and oversight of the department's risk assessment process of AgriBank's operation and developing an audit plan for approval by the Audit Committee. He also assists the Audit Committee in fulfilling its responsibilities.

Prior to the formation of AgriBank, Don was senior vice president of the Producer Credit Group for the Farm Credit Bank of St. Paul. He started with the Farm Credit System in 1972 as a loan officer. He joined the Federal Land Bank of St. Paul in 1975 as a credit reviewer and held management positions responsible for strategic planning, bank operations, association supervision and various district-wide initiatives.

He received his B.A. degree in economics in 1972 and has attended numerous training sessions on leadership and management.
