Glenn Blumhorst

Country Representative, Bolivia

Glenn Blumhorst has served as ACDI/VOCA’s country representative in Bolivia since 1998. His 10 years of chief of party and team leader experience includes managing the implementation of multiple USAID-funded community and economic development activities during that time. As a senior development specialist with 20 total years of professional experience, he oversees grants management, technical assistance and training/extension activities whose objectives include democracy and civil society strengthening, institutional capacity building, sustainable rural development, food security, natural resource conservation, enterprise development, social and productive infrastructure improvement and economic development. His worldwide experience in addition to Bolivia includes long- and short-term assignments throughout Latin America, Asia and Africa. He holds a bachelor of science degree in agricultural economics and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Missouri.
