Beth Keck has an extensive background in international business and corporate social responsibility. Currently, she is Practitioner-in-Residence of China Studies at The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. Previously Ms. Keck was a Senior Director at Walmart where she led Walmart’s $100 million Women’s Economic Empowerment commitment to train one million women on farms and in the workforce. She also initiated the company’s sustainable agriculture initiative. Before joining Walmart in 2004, Ms. Keck was based in China with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and The Boeing Company. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the National Committee on US-China Relations.
Ms. Keck has a master’s degree from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and bachelor of journalism degree from The University of Missouri School of Journalism.
